Breathing
The breathing Chef Magali uses in this story is called box breathing, a simple, powerful technique that helps regulate the nervous system when feelings get big.
When we are stressed or overwhelmed, scared or low, our brain's alarm system kicks in and floods the body with stress hormones. Slow, intentional breathing activates the body's natural "present" mode, calming that alarm and bringing us back to clarity and ease.
